its a 2001 ford ranger, and the door handle is broken. it pulls out too far. the other handle seems to be screwed in but the one on the drivers side isnt. if theres any way i can fix my handle or at least get in my car to drive it home that would really help. thanks!

Is it possible to flood a fuel injected car by pumping the gas pedal before or while cranking motor?
I have a 2010 Nissan Versa. Yesterday it failed to start in the early morning. I tried again three to four hours later but it still wouldn't start. I then had it towed to the dealership. They told me it wouldn't start because it was flooded and that the flooding was the result of pumping the gas pedal. The gas pedal was not pumped. The only thing out of the ordinary was the afternoon before I ran the car long enough to move it to the opposite side of the driveway.
I don't want a repeat and want fix whatever the problem may be whether it's operator error or something mechanical. Could you give me a little insight as to why this happened?
